In 1995, Bandai has evolved "technology to move plastic models" and users and MG started with the "RX-78-2 Gundam", which was three-dimensionalized by
the fusion of "the reality of mobile suits as mechanics" updated by the creators as
the first step.
Since then, Ver.1.5, Ver.Ka, Ver.ONE YEAR WAR 0079, and Ver.2.0, the RX-78-2 Gundam has
supported the evolution of MG as the culmination of the technologies of each era. And one form of MG that has continued to evolve since "Ver.2.0"
is the MG "νGundam Ver.Ka" released in December 2012.
This kit, which introduced new technologies such as precise armor parts division and slide gimmicks,
suggested new possibilities for Gunpla. In order to connect this one achievement and several years of trials
to the future, and to further evolve MG,
it is essential to make the RX-78-2 Gundam a new MG kit as the culmination of the current. You have reached the stage. In 2013,
for the new future of MG, not only did it completely reproduce the latest Gundam design, but also
added a new interpretation of movement, as a "scale model with even movement expression", a level beyond imagination.
MG RX-78-2 Gundam Ver.3.0 is launched, aiming for a kit that can feel the reality in.
● Equipped
with a "movable armor system" that realizes basic movable performance exceeding the previous model Ver
. In this system, the armor parts also add mobility linked with the inside.
By adding accent movement to the shoulder armor, etc., which tended to hinder movement in the past, the degree of freedom of movement has been greatly
improved.
-By moving the shoulder armor and backpack cover, the flexibility of arm movement is improved.
・Secondary armor covers the frame in conjunction with joint movement.
・The range of motion of the ankle is also improved by the opening and closing mechanism of the shin back armor.
